Emotive Horizons: Museum of Emotions | Ireland/International
Nestled along the rugged coastline of Ireland, the Museum of Emotions stands as a testament to the intersection of art, nature, and human experience. Our innovative design concept transcends traditional museum conventions, offering visitors a multisensory journey through the depths of emotion and imagination. Inspired by the unique landscape and climate of the Irish coast, our vision unfolds as a tubular intervention, a bold architectural programme that contrasts with the horizontal planes of the land. The museum’s design embraces the concept of coastal intervention, blurring the boundaries between land and sea, past and present, emotion and expression. Situated against the cliffs, the tubular disc structure offers panoramic views of the ever-changing seascape through a series of micro-climates, inviting visitors to embark on a voyage of discovery and introspection. The museum’s architecture is a testament to ingenuity and imagination, with its tubular form seamlessly integrated against the coastal landscape; a celebration of the human spirit, and a testament to the power of art to transcend boundaries and unite hearts and minds.
